Astonishing Achievement of Little Flowers' Volleyball Team

Little Florians proved their mettle in Volleyball match in the 7th National Student Games 2024-24 organised by the Student Games Federation of India at Sujanpur Tira in Himachal Pradesh organised from 19th January to 22nd January, 2024. Vansh Ojha, Shivam Garg, Anush Malik and Sparsh Bhardwaj from XII J; Karan Sharma from XII D and Naitik Bhardwaj from XII C represented the senior team and got First position.

Riyansh Jain, Harsh Goel, Nikhil Garg, Kartik Soni and Sambhav Bhardwaj from X H; Sehaj Bhardwaj from X A and Kamaljeet Malik from X E represented Junior team and got First position.

Each player received a gold medal and a scholarship of Rs 11000 from the Chief Guest , Sh Ankur Gupta, Personal Secretary, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh. School Manager, Mrs C. M. Patel, Principal, Mrs Neeta Dua and Managing Director, LFGS, Mr Rohit Dua Patel applauded the winners and their coach Mr Brajpal Rajput on the grand success.

Little Florians Shine in 33rd Delhi State Tug of War Championship

A magnificent show of sheer strength, marvellous team work and amazing techques was marked by the Little Florians at the 33rd Delhi State Tug of War Championship 2023-2024 held on 25th and 26th August at Sports Ground, Laxmi Bai College, Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Many teams participated in various categories but the Little Florians shone brightest treasuring a gold in U-13 boys, a bronze in U-13 girls, a silver in U-17boys and girls and a silver in U-19 boys with their grit and efforts. The school management conveyed the heartiest wishes to all the winners who epitomised strength and courage going head to head

Young Parliamentarians Awarded in the Parliament

Winning an award is one of the most gratifying experiences especially when it comes after hours of tireless efforts. Owing to the hardwork of the management, staff and Florians, Little Flowers Public Senior Secondary School has been recognised as a competitor par excellence in the league of Youth Parliament that lead to the coveted Merit Trophy of First Runner up on 21st July, 2023. The eight award winning students also received Shield and certificates. The Chief Guest of the event, Sh. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Law and Justice; Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs; and Minister of State in the Ministry of Culture awarded and blessed the students with his motivational words. It was an honour to receive such a prestigious award in the premises of the parliament. School Manager, Smt. C.M. Little Florians Represent Delhi State in T-20 Junior National Tennis ball Crikcet Championship 2023-24

“T-20 Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship 2023-24 in Delhi State”

The school is proud to share that Sparsh Bhardwaj, XII J, Lakshay, XI A, Ishan Sharma, X C and Kartik Vashisth, IX G represented U-17 team of Delhi State in T-20 Junior National Tennis ball Cricket Championship 2023-24 held from 17th May to 20th May, 2023 at John Milton Public School, Agra, U.P.
The teams of twenty-three states participated in the championship. Delhi team played neck and neck till Quarter final match and enthralled the audience.
The school Principal, Mrs Neeta Dua and Managing Director, LFGS, Mr. R.D. Patel appreciated the students for making it this far and blessed them for their future endeavours.

U -17 Boys category match held from 18th December, 2022 to 21st December, 2022 at Govt. Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, FU Block, Pitampura. His resilience and determination enabled him to secure the top position. He has been given the scholarship of Rs 21,000 from Delhi Government and Rs 5000 from the venue. Now he is selected for National Camp.The school management congratulated him wholeheartedly and wished him luck for future tournaments.

The Little Florians have made their school proud by bringing laurels to the country in 4th International Students Games organized by Student Games Association (Nepal). A team of students, Abhay Singh (XII-J), Gaurav Chaudhary (XII-J), Vaibhav Atrey (XII-F), Vansh Ojha (X-A), Saksham (X-H), Swastik Sharma (X-A) and Shivam Garg (X-H), represented India through Student Games Federation of India. They participated in the Games which were held from 12th September to 17th September in Nepal. The esteemed team won a Silver Medal in Volleyball at International Level. The participants and their coach, Mr. Brajpal were lauded by the School Management for their impeccable performance.

Nine students participated in Volleyball Under-17 group in the 5th National Youth Traditional Games 2020, Solan, Himachal Pradesh from 11th October, 2020 to 13th October, 2020.

Tushar Vats, Kunal Sharma, Abhay Singh, Vaibhav Atrey, Abhay Pratap Singh, Gaurav Chaudhary, Vansh Ojha, Shivam Garg, Nikunj Pradhan participated in Under-17 boys category and got Second position and Silver Medals.

The winners and the coach Mr. Brajpal Rajput were appreciated by the school management for their momentous achievements.

Little Flowers Group of Schools takes pride in all such endeavours which shape the personality of students ideally with all the quintessential life skills. The school is aware of the fact that sports are the best medium to inculcate important values among students therefore the school gives utmost importance to sports in its curriculum. Reflecting upon the same ideology, the school celebrated " Ahavaan - Virtual Sports Week "from 29th August, 2020 ,the National Sports Day of India to 10th September, 2020, with the same flamboyant spirit among students .This event was aimed at offering students an apt platform to encourage their physical prowess and gain a hands on experience of team work, perseverance, courage and dedication in this Covid Era where all are bound to stay at homes. During this Sports Week many competitions and activities like Yoga Competition, Flamingo Balance, Duck Walk, Badminton Juggling, Basketball Dribbling, Jumping Jack, T.T Juggling, Skipping, Curl-up, Underhand Wall pass ,Planks, Squats, Modified push-ups, Fruit race , Soft toys in basket, Kangaroo race, Balloon burst etc. were conducted for the students of classes Nursery to XII. It was such a grand event and even grander was the response from all the students who participated in all activities with unbeatable enthusiasm. Even the tiny tots gave tough competition to teenagers on the spectrum of zeal.

What shone out of the digital arena of the school during this Sports Week was the power of Sports to unite and develop a unique bond in this Covid Era .The School Management was lauded for such fun and health oriented event. The School owes the success of the event to hardworking Sports Faculty, enthusiastic Little Florians and encouraging parents. The School Principal Mrs. Neeta Dua remarked that Sports are an essential part of the curriculum as it brings life changing benefits by imparting life skills such as confidence, resilience, determination, perseverance and thus prepares them for future.

Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School firmly believes that language is an ultimate medium which lets us travel in the world of expression with creative precision. It takes Hindi- the mother tongue in high esteem and keeps exploring new opportunities to adorn its teachers and students to shine with linguistic brilliance. It is a matter of pride that 100 students of L.F.P.S.S.S.  and 25 students of L.F.I.S. were rewarded with the honour of “Bhashadoot & Bhasharatan” in the benign presence of the Chief Guest Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal (Director of the Ministry of Human Resources and Development), Mr. Prahlad Singh Patel (The Chairman of Tourism and Culture Department), Mr. Yogesh Punja (Ambassador, Fiji) & Professor Avnish Kumar (President of Central Hindi Directorate). To add on the glitter of the academic lusture, all the scholars of Hindi and Sanskrit of both L.F.P.S.S.S. and L.F.I.S who had scored 90%  and above along with teachers were also rewarded with medals and certificate by Indian Language Academy. The Chief Guests Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal and Mr. Prahlad Patel praised the efforts of the teachers and students. They emphasized the importance of propagation of Indian languages in present scenario.

TOYOTA ROAD SAFETY PROGRAMME AT NATIONAL LEVEL

Toyota Safety Education Programme, National Level event was held at Bal Gandharv Rang Mandir, Bandra, Mumbai on 22nd Feb, 2020. The programme was conducted by CSR wing of Toyota that provided a platform of immense exposure to the students which aims to instil road safety culture. The programme was initiated in 2007 and has trained 7 lakh students so far in different cities. This year the programme was conducted for 30,000 students in the three cities i.e., Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore in which, Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School secured 2nd position at National Level and school was awarded with Rs. 10,000/- cash prize for the project on ‘Visually Impaired Pedestrian’ presented by Shivangi Verma, Aakanksha Sharma, Bhumika, Nirwan Jain and Mohd Huzefa of class IX. From Little Flowers International School, skit based on ‘My Right My Responsibility’ was presented by Yagyank Gola, Divyam Chawla, Anubhav Gaur, Gaurav Joshi and Shivansh Gaur of class IX and they secured 1st position. Ms. Kirti Aggarwal, Ms. Meenakshi Sharma and Ms. Nidhi Wadhwa were commended by the School Management for their excellent guidance.

This event was graced by Chief Guest, Mr. Sandip Bhajibhakare (DCP of Traffic, Mumbai Police), Prominent guests, Mr. Vikram Gulati (Country Head and Sr. Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motors), Ms. Krithika Joyappa (Manager of Toyota Kirloskar Motors), Mr. Dhaval Sheth (Technical Director, KPMG), Jury members Ms. Arundhati (Eminent Educationist), Ms. Shivani Gupta (Infrastructure Specialist), Dr. Atish Ladda (Healthcare Expert) and Inspector Kadam (Traffic Police representative).

This nation-wide endeavor of spreading awareness and integrating safety measures among the young ‘Road Safety Brigade’ has been highly appreciated.

Brilliant Achievement at 9th Swami Vivekananda Chitrakala & Gita Shlokas Recitation Competition

Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School never leaves any stone unturned when it comes to all around development of children. Recently the school provided its students with an opportunity to awaken Indian Culture through “9th Swami Vivekananda Chitakala & Gita Shlokas Competition.” Around 17 students of our school participated in the grand competition where 100 schools were invited. It’s a matter of pride that amongst the participants, Manya Mishra of class IX F secured 2nd position in Poster Making and Ayush Bhardwaj of class VIII A secured 3rd position in Pot Decoration. Some other students namely Tithi Sharma of class VIII D for Gita Shloks, Yashwani Chauhan of class III A for Poster Making, Yash Verma & Yashi Sharma of class VII B for graffiti Wall were awarded consolation prizes to acknowledge their creative efforts. On the whole, this participation developed a sense of pride for Indian Culture among students.


LITTLE FOWERS STUDENTS EXCEL AT STATE LEVEL COMPETITION

Dreaming big and developing confidence are the important ingredients for getting success. Little Flowers students showcased their excellence at state level competition and again proved their mettle. On 14th February, 2020 Little Florians received awards from Arjun Awardee Shri Sushil Kumar, the iconic figure in the field of wrestling. In the augustus presence of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Little Florians bagged second position in Rajasthani Folk Dance in State Parade held at Chhatrasal Stadium on 25th January, 2020 in which 170 students participated. Those participants were also awarded with trophies and certificates.  Anmol Nailwal, Abhishek Nailwal, Navneet Raj Shukla and Ojuswi Singhal received cash prize of 500/- for achieving third position at State Level English and Hindi Debate Competition. Ritapa Rout of Seventh class proved her ability by standing second in fine arts. Abhishek Nailwal, an excellent orator of Little Flowers, stood second in Hindi Extempore and received cash prize of 750/-. All these young star achievers received a word of appreciation from School Manager, Smt. C.M. Patel and Principal Mrs. Neeta Dua.

Splendiferous Achievement of Little Florians in TSEP at State Level

Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School firmly believes that capacity to learn is a gift and ability to learn is a skill. Upholding the same ideology, the school encouraged the students from all its branches to join "Toyota Safety Education Programme" in which students actively participated in various activities like Debate, Ad Mad, Project, Safety features in Future Car etc. All the participants displayed zealous efforts in each activity. Overall three teams got selected by TSEP to perform at the state level.

From L.F.P.Sr. Sec. School, Vansh Aggarwal and Vansh Kumar Singh of class 7th E & Rashi Sharma of class 7th D, secured First Position & Gold Medal in Debate on implementation of “New Motor Vehicle Act”. Aakanksha Sharma, Bhoomika, Shivangi Verma, Mohd. Huzefa & Nirwan Jain of class 9th A presented a Project on "Safety Measures for visually impaired" & secured First Position & won Gold Medal.

 From Little Flowers International School, Shubham Jindal, Anushka Tyagi of 9th C, Arush Srivastava, Sanjana Verma & Vanshika Jain of 9th B achieved Second Position & Silver Medal in Project competition. Arpita Jain from 6th A, Dhruv Bansal & Guni Gupta from 6th B achieved First Position in Ad Mad Competition & won Gold Medal.

From Little Flowers Public School, Aditi Gupta, Kanishk Jain & Shubhi Jain from 8th C participated in " Safety Features in Future Cars" & secured Third Position.

On the whole, this participation ensured quality learning experience and developed a sense of road safety among the students.

With immense pleasure, we wish to inform you that our school got II position among all the cultural events performed during the State Republic Day Celebration held at Chatrasal Stadium on 25th January 2020 in the presence of Sh. Arvind Kejariwal, Hon'ble C.M. of Delhi. students of Little Flowers Public School, Yamuna Vihar and students of Little Flower Public SR. Sec. School Performed a colorful Rajasthani folk dance and mesmerized the viewers with their sprightly performance.

Heartiest congratulations to all the students, teachers and especially parents without whose continuous support it would not have been possible. Kudos to the students who had been practicing for around one and a half month for this grand celebration bearing extremities of weather.

LFPS participates in State Level Science Exhibition INSPIRE

To stimulate scientific temperament among students, Delhi State Level Science Exhibition (Inspire) was organised by Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi on 22nd & 23rd January, 2020 at School of Excellence, Kalka Ji.

Bhoomi Jain of Class VI A from Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara brought laurels to the school, as she participated in State Level Science Exhibition. She showcased a model on "Ecosan toilet" which is specially designed to preserve the environment and is an alternative for safe disposal of human excreta. School Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua appraised her efforts & wished great success in her future endeavors. School Manager, Smt. C.M. Patel applauded her for her inquisitiveness.


Report of NCSC at National level 2019

27th National children science congress was held at Thiruvananthapuram from 27th Dec to 31stDec, 2019. 658 child scientists from 28 states, 9 union territories Navodaya Vidhyalayas, KVS & 25 child scientists from Indian schools in west Asian countries of age group 10 to 17 years were selected to present their innovation on different subthemes under the local theme “Science technology & innovation for clean, green & Healthy nation.

As many as 1260 delegates including 203 teachers, 91 academic coordinators, National Academic committee members and eminent scientists had attended NCSC Programme.

Sri Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala & Dr. Shashi Tharoor M.P inaugurated the function on 27th December at Mar Ivanices Vidya Nagar. A rally was also conducted where different slogans represented their state.

Technical sessions at 12 venues were conducted simultaneously on all days of this event meet the scientist, workshop for teachers, science activity corner for students, science exhibition & cultured programmes & Techno Tour to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre are the highlights of the program.

According to allocated schedule, presentations of students were conducted at Mar Basdious College of engineering & procession of child scientists dressed in traditional attire showcase their art form in cultural evenings. We delhities presented a play on “water conservation” followed by dance performance.

On 30th,2019 at 5 Pm, Sri Venkaiah Naidu, Hon. Vice President of India addressed the delegates & students on saving our mother earth & urge everyone to keep our mother earth clean & green. He had also discussed on “Learn, Earn & Return.”

On 31st Dec,2019 valedictory function was organised where out of 658 projects 19 projects were selected who had been given scholarship. All other projects were also given grading according to their presentation and innovation.

Samiya Singh, students of LFPSSS Studying in class VIII also presented the project on the topic “EPIC from Bio Waste” under Main Theme “Science, Technology & Innovation for Clean, Green & Healthy Nation” at National level & she was graded with ‘B’ grade.


Glorious Achievement at Regional Science Exhibition

Scientific achievement is rooted in the paste and it is cultivated to full stature by many contemporizes.

Little Flowers Public Senior Secondary School participated in Regional Science Exhibition organised by CBSE at Bal Bhavan School, Mayur Vihar on 28.11.209 to 30.11.2019. Our students participated under two categories, Mathematical modelling and Health and Cleanliness. In Mathematical modelling Arsh Chouhan and Rachit Batra of class X prepared their project on Mathematical gaming under the guidance of Mrs. Mamta Mehta. Science model was prepared by Amaan Ahmed and Rachna Kanwar of class XI under the guidance of Mrs. Rashmi Saxena. In Science model students prepared their exhibit of HELP U system of bio toilet in which very little or almost little water is used for flushing. Moreover the egestary waste is fed by black soldier fly larvae which convert it into compost. This project was well appreciated by the judges and selected for presentation at national level. It's a very proud moment for the Little Florians that their innovative models was well appreciated by the eminent judges and awarded by Chief Guest, Mr J K Yadav, Regional Officer CBSE  Delhi.


L.F.P.S. Celebrated Kids Carnival

Creativity is as important now in education as literacy.

With this belief in heart and action, Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara, celebrated KIDS CARNIVAL on 30th Nov, 2019 with great zeal, zest and enthusiasm. The entire school premises was decorated with creative craft items created by students. The tiny tots dressed in colourful attire presented a visual feast. Smt. C.M. Patel, Founder and Director of L.F.P. Group of School, presided over the function. L.F.P.S. fraternity sought the blessings of the Founder and Director of the School Late. Shri D.R. Patel before the commencement of the programme. The programme began with Guru Vandana followed by enthralling Yoga, Alien Dance, Japanese Dance, Spanish Dance, African Dance, Arabian Dance, Indian Mashup, Pride of India and Earth Dance by Nursery,K.G., I and II class students. They presented mesmerizing dances such as Jumba, Punjabi Dance, Bhangra, Summer Dance, Goa Dance, Peacock Dance, Zoobi-Zoobi, Dandiya Dance, Diwali Dance, X-Mas Dance and Party Dance. Their performance reaffirmed the fact that dance is the joy of movement and the heart of life. Dancing is like dreaming with your feet. The programme concluded with oath on Cleanliness and Save Environment by all including the parents.
The guests applauded the school for its meritorious performance in all the fields and acknowledged it to be the best one. School Director Smt. C.M. Patel and Principal Mrs. Neeta Dua appreciated the students for their spectacular performance.
The school management applauded the enthusiastic participation of the students and extended vote of thanks to all who contributed to the success of the programme.

Avoid Crackers, preserve nature

‘Avoid Crackers, preserve nature’ to spread this message, Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara organized ‘Green Diwali Awareness’ Rally on 24th October, 2019 to promote the guidelines of Dept. of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi regarding the celebration of crackers free Diwali. The rally was flagged off by the members of School Management including School Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua, Chairman, LFIS, Mr. R.K. Dua and School Secretary, Mr. Rohit Dua.

Around 500 students of class VII to XII participated enthusiastically in the rally and raised slogans on various themes like, Say No to Crackers, Say No to Single Use Plastic, Save Water, Preserve Life, Save Trees, Save Life. The rally commenced from Little Flowers International School, Kabir Nagar and reached Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara. The students began their endeavour with great zeal, zest and enthusiasm and motivated the masses to think green and act green.

Expressing her concern on the pollution level that is deteriorating the health of today’s generation, the School Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua encouraged the students to share happiness with the less privileged ones and celebrate Green and Clean Diwali.

Even the residents of the area appreciated the efforts of the students and promised to contribute to make Delhi pollution free.

The rally ended on a positive note with a commitment to save environment for coming generation.


LITTLE FLORIANS ATTENDED VAYOSHRESTHTA SAMMAN- NATIONAL AWARD CEREMONY

Thirty students of class XI & XII got an opportunity to witness ‘Vayoshresthta Samman- National Award Ceremony’ of senior citizens on October 3, 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan.This National Award is given to eminent senior citizens and institutions in recognition for their service towards the elderly persons by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Honorable President of India, Sh. Ram Nath Kovind graced the occasion with his benign presence and awarded the winners. He delivered an enlightening speech about the importance of senior citizens in a society. He also invoked the audience to pay due respect to the senior citizens.

 


Spectacular Achievement of Melodious Little Florian

Melodious Little Florians believe that high achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
Nandini Garg, a student of VII-C participated in “Gandhiji Ke Priya Bhajan” competition under “Gandhi Week” which was celebrated from 30th January, 2019 to 5th February, 2019. The competition was held at Gandhi Hindustani Sahitya Sabha, J. L. Nehru Marg, Rajghat. Around one hundred schools participated in the competition. Nandini Garg got third position in junior category. She was awarded with certificate and cash prize.

School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara participated in Youth and Mini Boys and Girls National Championship Tennis Volleyball 2018-19 at National Stadium Dabra, Distt. Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh from 1st Feb 2019 to 3rd Feb 2019. The Little Florians Amaan Shahid, Sarthak Garg, Divyanshu, Pranav Garg, Ishwar Singolkar, Deepanshu Khattar and Yasir Ahmed under Youth category and Tushar, Kartikey, Nikunj, Vansh Ozha, Shivam, Pranav Chanana under Mini boys category who were trained under the able guidance of Coach Sh. Brajpal Rajput displayed amazing sportsmanship and team spirit and brought laurels to the school. School Director Mrs. C. M. Patel and Principal Mrs. Neeta Dua congratulated the students for their enthusiastic performance and blessed them for their bright future.


Christmas Celebration at L.F.P.S.S.S

Rejoicing in the spirits of Christmas, the students of L.F.P.S.S.S. celebrated the festival on 24th December, 2018 with gaiety and exuberance. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers, balloons and Christmas tree ornaments prepared by the students. Melodious carols were presented by the choir of class III and IV girls. Dance performance by the students of class II to V enthralled the audience. The essence of Christmas came alive at the school when all the students participated in the Special Assembly. The spree of the celebration was amply visible on the faces of the students while decorating the grand Christmas trees in the school campus.

The School Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua emphasized the importance of caring and sharing and spreading goodness all around. School Manager, Smt. C.M. Patel elaborated that happiness lies in celebrating together as a family. School Secretary,Mr. RohitDua highlighted that Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting.


EXPERIENCE AT YAMUNA BIO-DIVERSITY PARK

Yamuna Bio-diversity Park, Wazirabad, New Delhi, is a forest situated on the flooded area of River, Yamuna, where our school’s Biology students along ith 2 teachers went as an educational trip. There were arround 50-55 students.

The students accompnied by 2 staff members who firstly told them about biodiversity and helped them to find out different types of species. It is of about 1400 sq.km in range which includes wetlands, orchid area and specific gene crop area. Students were made into 2 groups in which one teacher (staff) followed them.

Firstly, they saw poly house and net house in which small & medium sized plants were grown respectively at specific temp, moisture and humidity followed by some ethical/religious plants like neem, peepal, tulsi, banyan tree etc. There was a plant named “Fragmantia” which is a water table indicator. Specific gene crop includes Brinjal, Tomato, okra, spinach, tamarind which is used in biotechnology. After that, orchid came which consists of calotropis, elephant apple, date palm, pomagranate, sapota and many medicinal plants. There was a plant which is proper/uniquely medicinal named Bhoomiamla, the leaves of which are used in cancer treatment, stems in lungs diseases.

There was a wetland also where they saw migratory birds, grey herons from china and many ducks.

Overall 250 species of plants, 190 species of butterfly 7 species of snakes and many mammals like wild bore neil gaye, mangoose and many more.

Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shahdara celebrated Diwali on 2nd November, 2018 with great fervor and enthusiasm. The entire school was decorated with beautiful handcrafted decorative lanterns, frills and reusable paper rangoli prepared by the students. The programme commenced with Ganesh Stuti presented by the students of class VI to VIII. Inter-House Dance Competition was the most cherished event. Folk and religious dances presented by the students of class VII to IX mesmerized the audience with their effervescene. It was a visual feast and an acoustic treat to watch those graceful and elegant dance steps.

Inter-House Mehandi Competition was also organised for the students of class X to XII. All the winners were awarded by the School Management members.

The School Manager, Smt. C. M. Patel and Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua advised the students to celebate safe, cracker-free eco-friendly Diwali. School Chairman, Sh. P. K. Jayna & Sh. R. K. Dua and Managing Director, Mr. Rohit Dua wished a happy and prosperous Diwali to all the students and staff.

VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK OBSERVATION AT L. F. P. S.

“Eternal vigilance is the price of eternal development. Anti Corruption movement starts from us.”

As per its endeavour to promote transparency, rectitude and integrity in students and to embrace the social responsibility of Central Vigilance Commission of preparing alert and vigilant citizens for the future, ‘Viligance Awareness Week’ was observed from …………… October, 2018 to 31st October, 2018.

The students of class V to X participated in various activities to create awareness on combatting corruption at the root level.

Eye-catching posters and invigorating slogans were prepared and displayed by class VI to VIII students. Thought provoking speeches and poems were presented by class IX & X students.

An essay writing competition based on corruption was organised by the Literary Club of the school for class X students. The students of class XI & XII presented a street play on ‘Promoting Integrity ensures the prosperity of the Nation.’

School Manager, Smt. C. M. Patel and Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua appreciated the active participation of all the students and expressed that such programmes bring about the holistic development of the students. They advised the students to choose their thoughts and actions based on values rather than personal gain.


VIGOROUS LITTLE FLORIANS SHINE IN TUG-OF-WAR CHAMPIONSHIP

“The five S’s of sports training are stamina, speed, strength, skill and spirit, but the greatest of these is spirit that ensures success.”

Mighty Little Florians continued their success story with the marvellous achievements in Tug-of-War Championship. Tug – of – War Federation of India organized 30th Delhi State Tug – of – War Championship 2018 at Siddharth International Public School from 11th October to 14th October, 2018. Chief Guest, Honorable Mr. Madan Mohan Ji asserted the importance of games in life. 17 schools participated in this championship. Little Flowers Public Sr. Sec. School, Shivaji Park, Shahdara participated in U-19 boys (560kg), U-19 girls (440kg) and U-17 boys (480kg)and won Gold medals in U-19 girls(440kg) weight category, bronze medals in U-19 boys (560kg) and U-17 (480kg) boys, under the guidance of their coach Mr. J. K. Tomar.

School Manager, Mrs. C. M. Patel showered her blessings on the winners by reminding them that ‘Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up.’ Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua and School Secretary, Mr. Rohit Dua congratulated the participants and encouraged them to be victorious in every field of life.

Glorious Little Florians got a golden opportunity to meet our Former President, Sh. Pranab Mukherjee at his residence, 10, Rajaji Marg, New Delhi on 28th September, 2018. It was an awe-inspiring moment for the school toppers and all rounders.

The School Manager, Smt. C. M. Patel, Principal, Mrs. Neeta Dua, other management members and teachers presented mementos, shawl, painting and saplings to the Ex-President as a token of reverence. He showered blessings on the students and shared valuable words of wisdom to enlighten the students. This substantial meeting filled the students with a patriotic fervour and they pledged to serve the nation whole heartedly. Hon’ble Sh. Pranab Mukherjee acclaimed the School Management for achieving a remarkable position in the field of education.
